(Río de Janeiro, SoloAzar Exclusive).- At SBC Summit Rio, Salsa Technology stood out with the launch of its PAM platform, Salsa Omni, and point-of-sale management system, Salsa Agents. In an exclusive interview with SoloAzar, Gina Macheri, Strategic Alliance Manager at Salsa Technology, shared details about the company's participation in the event and offered her vision about the future of iGaming in the region, with a particular focus on Brazil, among other topics.

SBC Summit Rio: Salsa Technology's commitment to tailored, robust and secure iGaming solutions

What were the main products or services you presented at this first edition of SBC Summit Rio?

At this first edition of SBC Summit Rio we presented our PAM platform, Salsa Omni, which is the heart of the secure iGaming operation, compatible with the main regulatory requirements models, guaranteeing the best gaming experience, and the point of sale (POS) management system, Salsa Agents, a platform integrated with Salsa Omni that allows operators to manage their agent network through a multi-level structure of sub-agents.

How are you adapting to local Brazilian regulations?

We have a team of specialists and consultants for the sector who are already ahead of the game and we also have clients operating in this market. Although we are new to Brazilian regulations, we have a lot of expertise in iGaming and that is an advantage, for sure. We are also promoting a key product for the regulated iGaming market, Salsa Safe, which is a vault system specially developed to meet the demands of regulators and is a complete tool for integrating management data and monitoring operators effectively and transparently.

What are your company's expansion plans in the Brazilian market?

One of the things that sets us apart is our support for operators as they successfully expand into various markets. We have secure, complete, flexible and scalable technology solutions. An example of this was the visit of the CEO of NossaBet to our stand, who, in a recent start-up using our solutions, was one of the first operators to perform in the Brazilian regulated market. In this way, we will endeavour to replicate the same successful formula used for NossaBet in other states and for other players within the Brazilian market, which is in full regulatory expansion, and we are optimistic about the success of this operation.

What aspects of the SBC Summit Rio did you find most relevant or attractive?

From the outset we believe in the potential of the sector and in the initiatives of organising an event in Rio de Janeiro. After all, iGaming and Brazil are our specialities and we feel at home. We have a tradition of pioneering events in the sector and we were happy with the volume and quality of visitors. I can even say that our stand was too small for the many opportunities we found at the event. We will continue to invest in the SBC Summit Rio.

What opportunities for collaboration or partnership arose between the companies present at the event?

Our stand was beautiful, functional and well-located, and we took a large team of specialists to attract and meet with our partners during the event. In addition to new business generated there that is currently under negotiation, we had the opportunity to strengthen ties with clients already operating in Brazil such as NossaBet and BetFortuna, attend major partners such as BetMotion in lectures, as well as schedule numerous meetings with industry authorities. Our CEO, Peter Nolte, was also present and, in addition to numerous interviews, was also enthusiastic about the event's potential and the fact that our stand would be the venue for major meetings.

What is your vision for the future of iGaming in the Brazilian market and in Latin America?

iGaming has great growth potential within Brazil and Latin America. The region has a player base that is very interested in new entertainment experiences and iGaming offers a convenient and exciting way to participate in casino games, sports betting and other forms of gambling-related entertainment.

However, there are still challenges. One of the main is the regulation. Many Latin American countries have outdated or non-existent online gambling laws, which can make it difficult for operators to enter the market. In addition, the internet infrastructure in some countries in the region is still not as developed as in other parts of the world, which can limit accessibility to online gaming.

Nevertheless, iGaming is booming in the region and this will continue as countries regulate and the sector and internet infrastructure improve. Operators who manage to establish themselves and build reliable brands will have the opportunity to attract a loyal and profitable player base in the region and Salsa Technology is prepared and, better still, excelling every day to serve the industry with localised, robust and secure solutions for the different needs of the iGaming industry.
